An intimate ceremony in the Drawing Room followed by dinner beneath the Glasshouse roof.
Flowers arrived from a grower three villages away. Breakfast moved from the kitchen to the Drawing Room. Coats gathered by the back door, just in case.
A change in the weather.
Shortly after lunch, the cloud lifted. The garden team dried the seats, guests carried their own umbrellas outside, and the ceremony began beneath blossom still holding the rain.
Nothing felt overly arranged. That became the rhythm of the day: decisions made lightly, rooms used naturally, and enough time left between things for people to wander.
